The Idea
siteCoffee started in 2005 with a simple idea: to make getting a great website as easy and hassle-free as it is to get a good cup of coffee at your favorite coffee shop. Since those early days we’ve come to the conclusion there are no shortcuts to great quality.
Good coffee comes from savvy farmers, expert roasters, and friendly baristas. And good websites similarly only come with great care. We can’t promise there won’t be any effort on your part, but we’re proud of the processes we have which minimize the geek-speak, keep your part simple, and ensure consistent quality.
The People
Sam Bible ~ Principal / Project Manager / Designer
Sam fell in love with website design back in 1996, around the time he realized there was more to the Internet than CompuServe. These days he enjoys learning about a client’s business and using the tools of the trade to bring their website to life. Sam also teaches WordPress on OSTraining.com, and created the original “World’s Fastest Joomla Template” available through Alledia.
Sam is very fond of his daily coffee. But his greatest passion bar none is following the God of the Bible no matter what that might mean.
The Lab
In 2006 siteCoffee launched a simple website to serve the Joomla community. The website is OneStopJoomla.com and it provided what was a much needed service: a directory of extensions before Joomla had its own. More recently we launched a very simple site called Bible Yellow Pages.
These web properties provide us with live sites where we can observe, experiment, and hone the less visible but crucial skills that bring in traffic and keep a website running smoothly. They allow us to drink our own coffee, and are one of the tools we use to help us brew the best result every time.
